Hola! I'm a newly married, New Mexican native, but I’ve been transplanted to Georgia thanks to the United States Air Force. I’ve struggled with weight my entire life and I’m at the point where I want to be healthy and in great shape for me. It took a year to lose 10 pounds for the wedding and I gained it all back—and then some—during the honeymoon and as my husband prepared to deploy.

I’ve completed two ½ marathons and I’m currently attempting to train for my first triathlon, as well as helping my mom prepare for her first 5k. I enjoy working out and recently started taking a spin class at my gym. My husband and I have a blast cooking together in the kitchen, and since I’m a fellow Weight Watcher, most of the dishes we prepare follow the Point System.

I hope this site will keep me accountable and help me get down to my goal weight. I also blog over at Jesstagirl and her Officer if you're so inclined to read more :)

Hi all, my name is Abby. I am a native Marylander, as is my whole family, so it took a lot of guts to embark on this crazy military ride with my handsome pilot, Collin. I’m a girl who thoroughly enjoys the results of working out and eating right, but hates the process of getting there, and it doesn’t help that I lack self-control.

I currently weigh 175 and my ultimate goal is to lose 15 pounds. I’ve recently started running and I average about 6-10 miles per week; however, running has taken its toll on my back, so I need to focus on other exercises I can do in addition to running so I can strengthen my core muscles. I also want to focus on preparing meals and eating right. Cooking for one is tough, so I tend to eat out a lot.

Anyway, if you are reading this, I appreciate you coming to the blog and I hope you will help all of us along on our journey, whether you know us or not. And feel free to take anything you learn here and apply it to your life, after all, we all have the right to bare arms!

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am currently married to a captain in the US Army. I’m a Texas girl, born and raised, but moved away when I married the love of my life last year. We are currently stationed in Missouri, and I am just trying to lose 15 lbs and get toned and healthy. I would LOVE to be back at my wedding-day weight…but wouldn't we all?!  I am trying to eat healthier and make time throughout my day to work out. I love walking my puppy Bailey, doing pilates and yoga, and dancing around the house. With Weight Watchers and my lovely "Right to Bare Arms" ladies, I should be able to shed down the pounds in no time!

I’ve been working hard and have already lost 15 pounds, but my goal is to lose another five to 10, and to start toning up.
